It started with an idea..

Löfgren Electronics was started in 2024 by Niklas Löfgren to sell and distribute the Löfgren Variometer.
We are located in the beautiful Rhone valley just next to Valence in France.

Like many products our variometer was created with the idea of making something better. With Niklas previous experience with state-of-the-art systems, and high level competition gliding, it was clear this was possible from the outset. Just how long it would take was unsure. From zero to market leading product took 6 years and then another year to make it to a finished product.

Our company is devoted to making things better. Our products are made to last as long as possible and be as sustainable as possible. We don't follow current trends but evaluate from case to case how to make things as good as possible, with proven sustainable technology. We strive for quality throughout, not just an impressive specification sheet.
